What kind of people use VeloKits?
"The Velo-kit is definitely my favorite purchase in recent
memory.
It's even more fun than it looks, and it draws a lot of attention
wherever I go.
Plus, it's amazingly practical and well-designed."

Might as well have some coffee while I fix
this tire....
As you would expect, things are still good, but I just wanted to tell
you about a particular design feature on the kit that has proven to be
outstanding -- the trunk.
By using Velcro to open and close the back,
trips to the grocery store with full panniers is really a snap. It's
big, wide, and access is easy so I can carry a lot of stuff with no
hassle. Because of this simple feature, the kit is more convenient
than the car. With this in mind, I added a garage door opener to my
kit.
My wife thinks the triangle makes me look a bit dorky,
but I think it significantly improves motorists' ability to see me
and realize they need to be ready if they're approaching
quickly from a distance.

Anyway, I just thought I'd drop you a note about my first impressions.
First off, this thing is great! Well done! It seems like you thought of
everything.
Before I found your site, I was contemplating how I would make
such an enclosure, and I appreciate all the work and thought you've put
into designing and building it.
It seemed like a lot of parts when I opened the box, but as I put it
together, it all made sense.

Hey KRASH!
The Kit is the max, man.  It has been a lot of fun getting it fitted to
the trike.
without excessive effort.  Not using the Bionx.

I put the VeloKit on an older TerraTrike 3.2.  Assembly was quite
easy but standard positioning on the front axle would have made
it tall, and I am very short, so it is about 3" lower clamped to the
axle in the middle on both sides (in back- low as possible).  It is
3" off the ground, and has never bottomed out.

With the rear width I put 2 wide panniers and a smaller rack
pannier on.  I have hauled many parts, tools, et-c in it, also my
small stereo.  So far- terrific!

I just wanted to let you know that I'm very happy with the Velo-Kit.
I took it for a couple quick spins on my street and it really rides
well.  I practiced removing the main parts and re-attaching
them--it really is very easy.  And it looks great!.

On the whole, I'm truly impressed with everything about the kit.
It's very well thought out, and I appreciate all the added touches
like the flag holders, mirrors, rear lights, and reflective striping
(and the secret allen wrenches).
