A $300 deposit gets you on the list. Waiting time is about 3 weeks.

The VeloKit is intended for moderate weather protection only.

It is not for use in extreme weather conditions, and should not be
used in high winds.

Also this is not designed as an aerodynamic body for increased
speed, and could become unstable at speeds over 25 mph.

It should in no way be considered collision protection.
